I have gained a lot of experience designing and building many responsive websites. I have developed a personal approach to testing different solutions that
has brought me to design mostly in the browser.
A key area of focus in my design process is to ensure the best
interaction for each situation guide the user in their digital journey, as this is essential in creating engaging and effective experiences.
Bringing quality attributes that assesses how easy user interfaces are to use. Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Errors and Satisfaction are some key quality components.
Understanding who the user is has been an important element. Investigating systematically and applying various techniques in order to add context into the design process. Research is needed to reach new conclusions, establish facts, and find problems.
Showing an entire site or mobile app structure comes with a lot of organization. My wire-framing ranges in high-low fidelity forms from quick sketches on a paper to details computer renderings. This generally reflects the designer's ideas about the placement of elements on the page, labeling of elements, site navigation and how the user will interact with the site.
Getting a realistic representation of what the product will look like. Using graphic software or straight into HTML/CSS. Experience in using Sketch, Balsamiq, Axure or Photoshop.
A graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Communication Design and Graphic Design with 10 Years of Graphic Design experience. I have a creative approach to problem solving, a passion for design with purpose, and a desire to provide a product on time with the resources available. I design and create compelling experiences that position clients and employers above their competition.
My goal is to create excellent graphic designs for print and online media that function for the intended audience and to handle changes in a quick and effective manner.
llbert and I connected at Scholastic on several projects and it quickly became evident that Ilbert is extremely passionate about his designs. He has a modern aesthetic to his layouts and is excellent at typography, designing logos while managing multiple projects. Ilbert is the kind of designer you would enjoy having on your team, when deadlines are tight and require ideas quickly followed by good solutions.
On a personal level, Ilbert is also level-headed and would fit in nicely in any company culture.
